Fair use policy

The plan is for the ordinary use of one person or a small team receiving calls on a mobile. Each country's plan includes a set number of minutes a month to a mobile there, then a per-minute rate — the store states both before you pick a number. If you run several calls at once all day, use automated, bulk or telemarketing traffic, or resell the service, you're outside fair use.

Minutes over the plan's allowance are billed at that per-minute rate. Extra minutes are charged monthly, on the bill after they are used — on a monthly plan and a yearly plan alike, so a yearly payment stays the yearly price. Your control panel shows the minutes used so far this month.

During a free trial there is a safety limit: once you have used twice the plan's included minutes we send callers to voicemail until the plan starts, so a misconfigured diverting line can't run up a bill on a free trial. You still get every message by email, and we lift it on request. Each country store's fair use policy states its own figure.

If that happens we'll get in touch first and suggest a better-fitting arrangement. We only restrict service if it carries on after that conversation — except for unlawful or abusive use, which we will stop immediately.
