How to divert landline calls to your mobile
The three ways to do it, what each costs, and why a virtual landline number is usually the cheapest.
There are three ways to get calls to a landline number onto your mobile. You can ask your current provider to add call divert (usually a monthly fee plus the cost of every diverted minute), you can move the number to a VoIP provider and use an app, or you can use a virtual landline number that forwards to your mobile at the network level — no app, no internet needed.
Divert from your existing provider is the simplest but the most expensive per minute, because you pay the retail rate for every forwarded call. A VoIP app is cheapest but only works when you have data and the app open. A virtual landline number sits in the middle: it rings your normal phone through your normal network, and the forwarding is included in the monthly price.
With Landline for Mobile it's one price a month in each country, nothing added at checkout, with voicemail to email and a business-call heads-up, and you can keep your existing number by transferring it in for free. Each country's plan includes a set number of minutes a month to a mobile there, then a per-minute rate — the store states both before you pick a number.
